On April 2nd 2022, our community had a chance to welcome Alex Smirnov, CEO & Co-Founder and Alexander Ghahremany, COO of deBridge to join an AMA to deliver fruitful information about the key features and roadmap of the project.
This AMA was held by CryptoFamily Group – the top crypto community in Vietnam, where investors and traders can obtain the latest news and signals from bot/ admins, as well as discuss and share investment experiences in the crypto space.

- First, please make a brief introduction of deBridge and some great achievements you has made so far.
deBridge: deBridge (https://debridge.finance/) is a universal messaging protocol and decentralized infrastructure. The protocol enables the passing of all types of messages including transfers of assets and data – all in one transaction.
Protocols and applications can build with deBridge to go cross-chain in a seamless and effective way. These can be projects focusing on DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and other areas.
We currently support 5 chains: Ethereum, BNB Chain, HECO, Arbitrum, and Polygon, but will rapidly scale up to additional chains moving forward. This includes both EVM and non-EVM chains. More information about this will be shared on our social so stay tuned for that.
Some of our big milestones thus far includes the mainnet launch and our close collaboration with 1inch + the launch of deSwap.

- Could you please some outstanding features that make deBridge competitive with other top protocols?
deBridge:
Yes, absolutely! That’s a good question. deBridge is fully decentralized and the protocol has a set up of reputable and experienced validators that bear financial responsibility for their service while working for governance.
deBridge itself is a communication protocol that enables the passing of data and assets in a single transaction. This drastically improves the user experience as it prevents users from doing multiple transactions and steps to do a cross-chain action e.g. a swap.
Moreover, it tackles cold onboarding where users don’t need to have the native asset on the destination as transactions are claimed automatically by keepers for a small execution fee assigned by the user.
With deBridge, all types of cross-chain interactions and messaging can be done without switching networks and wallets.
You can already try out how this works in practice today via deSwap which is only one example of what can be built on top of deBridge.

- Could you please update some latest news or hot events of deBridge to enable further adoption?
deBridge: On the development and adoption side, we are speaking with many protocols that are interested in using deBridge to bring their project cross-chain in a seamless and effective way. We will share more info about this very soon.
At the same time, we do not rush any release, as security and protocol stability is our main priority. A cross-chain messaging protocol like deBridge solves a great technical challenge for asset and data transfers in a permissionless and trustless manner. We’ll continue to provide the best cross-chain experience for projects and users that utilize the deBridge infrastructure.
On the marketing and community side, we are focusing a lot on educating and making sure projects and users understand the opportunities that are possible with the deBridge infrastructure while displaying the various product updates we are pushing, partners we are working with, and more.
In addition, we will be experimenting with various NFT related campaigns to encourage community growth. Also, we have been conducting creative contests as users seem to love those kinds of campaigns. More of this will come in the near future.

What are the most ambitious goals of the project now and in the future? Can you explain more about deBridge Tokenomics ? What is your most important next priority according to the project development roadmap?
deBridge: Good question. We’re building a universal messaging protocol and decentralized infrastructure that aims to interconnect any smart contract on any chain. We want projects and users to have the ability to seamlessly move between ecosystems and interact with them as they would like.
We have a lot of priorities and focus areas moving forward. Info about tokenomics will be shared in the future. We can encourage everyone to stay tuned to our socials to stay up-to-date with everything that’s going on with deBridge, since we will publish everything there.
Our main focus moving forward include more integrations of blockchains (both EVM and non-EVM ones), better infrastructure and more exciting product updates, working closely with great projects and partners in the space, build out the deBridge ecosystem, have a great community with users and projects, and more.

deBridge have Cross-chain interoperability for NFTs and metaverses. What are the functionalities of deBridge in a cross-chain market NFT? Why with deBridge, the NFT interaction has never been so easy? How do you make it possible for NFTs to thrive and be more than just a novelty?
deBridge: We believe NFTs, Metaverse, and gaming are a major category in web3 and we’re definitely focused on building cross-chain infrastructure for protocols building in this space. One thing to note is that deBridge brings cross-chain interoperability opportunities to a vast range of areas within the blockchain space including NFTs.
deBridge enables different opportunities for NFTs and gaming projects like:
–Build custom, logic-preserving NFT bridges for smooth conversion between different NFT standards
–Make NFT assets composable between GameFi and metaverses
–Help our industry ideate a cross-chain standard that is chain-agnostic
The interoperability of NFT standards is another cornerstone. How should ERC-721 be converted to the Solana ecosystem? deBridge framework addresses both of these issues by allowing protocols to create their own custom NFT bridges that preserve internal NFT logic and have proper conversion

deBridge:
Yes, absolutely! We fully agree on that. Having strong and helpful partners, investors and others is super important. We have many that are helping us out on different areas which is great.

Could you demonstrate a little about your mainnet? Please tell me what security mechanisms does deBridge apply to keep the privacy and security of your users’ assets. How do you manage if there is an attack on your platform to protect your users’ benefits?
deBridge: We went recently live on mainnet and this is something we have been very excited about as we have been working on it since we started deBridge. Right now we have seen some great activity on mainnet including:
Transactions: 4500+
Unique users: 2050+
Assets bridged: 54

Security will also be our mainnet focus and it’s crucial to have a secure and reliable protocol for projects, users, our community, and others. Is there any plan for the DeBridge to support more blockchains in the future? What are your goals for cross-chain convergence in order to obtain widespread adoption? Could you please list a few key partners who are making a significant contribution to DeBridge defi business?
deBridge:
We currently support 5 chains since the mainnet launch: Arbitrum, BNB chain, Ethereum, HECO, and Polygon. Many more chains to be supported (stay tuned via Twitter, Discord and Telegram), including non-EVM ones and L2s.
We believe the key to obtaining widespread adoption is having superior UX and make it as easy as possible to use the infrastructure we’re building, having an ultra-secure and reliable protocol, and various collaborations and integrations in the deBridge ecosystem. With this, deBridge functions as a go-to infrastructure for all things cross-chain in DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and other verticals🌉
The multi-chain ecosystem will also be a cross-chain one. We are therefore eager to be working together with all protocols based on their use case. More info about key partners will be shared moving forward. If you know about a protocol or application we should speak with, let us know🙌

1.Do you have AUDIT certificate? Or are you working on AUDITING your project, to make it more secure and reliable?
deBridge:
Security is crucial for us especially since there have been so many hacks in the space for the past 12-18 months. We have been working with numerous security audit firms including Halborn, Zokyo, Ackee Blockchain (More will be shared in the future), and we have an ongoing partnership with Halborn🙌
These audits are done and completed, and everything was as it should be. When we continue to build out our infrastructure, add more features and functionalities, more blockchains, and such, we will have more audits and work closely with researcher and developers in the space to make sure that development is also secure and reliable. This is crucial for us and the projects we are working with, the users that use deBridge in some way, and our community🤝
- Do you have any plans to add more members to your team, as ambassadors or any other position?
deBridge:
We’re always looking for great people to join our team and we encourage everyone to join our community to participate in our project. Now it’s all a matter of spreading the word and awareness about deBridge to people you know, so we can build out our ecosystem and have more great people join this journey.
We have active communities for Korean, Russian, Vietnamese, Persian, Chinese, French, and some other languages, and it’s always a place for everyone that’s interested in deBridge and cross-chain interoperability🙏
For the ones that are extra active and participating a lot in our community, we have an active moderator program. That’s something that people can look into, and we will also introduce an ambassador program later this year. Very excited for that🔥
- “Could you please provide some progress on your Roadmap and what results Collateral has achieved so far ? And any sneak peek into 2022 plans for your Project?”
deBridge:
Yes, absolutely! We can give some insights into the plans ahead, but we don’t want to give too much away since we’re fully focused on building and want to provide some great updates and surprises to our community moving forward😁
On the blockchain side, we want to integrate with a lot of blockchains this year. There are tons of exciting ecosystems out there with tremendous progress and traction, and we want our users and partners to have the chance to seamlessly interact with those blockchains. So stay very tuned for that!
