On August 26th 2022, our community had a chance to welcome Alex Hui – CEO & Founder of PolkaFantasy to join an AMA to deliver fruitful information about the key features and roadmap of the project.
This AMA was held by CryptoFamily Group – the top crypto community in Vietnam, where investors and traders can obtain the latest news and signals from bot/ admins, as well as discuss and share investment experiences in the crypto space.

- Could you please tell us about yourself first? What are the key points of PolkaFantasy and the first NFT collection “Beastroid”?
PolkaFantasy: I am Alex, the CEO and Founder of PolkaFantasy.
PolkaFantasy is the first-ever Japanese ACG (animation, comic & game) focused NFT GameFi ecosystem.
This ecosystem include more than just play-to-earn games. We have our own NFT marketplace, NFT wallet, and even more game related services that we will announce soon. We have a vision to build the best GameFi ecosystem and reshape the future of the gaming industry.
We believe that we can achieve this. I have been in blockchain industry for many years, and have been a gamer for decades. I have always wanted to combine the best parts of games and blockchain together to start a revolution in gaming.
PolkaFantasy is run by an incredible team with ex-COO of Square Enix, ex-CEO of SNK, executive producer at TV Tokyo etc, we are super excited to build this GameFi ecosystem with all the immense support from our community.
We are excited to introduce our first collaboration NFT collection with the legendary creator of Mega Man (Rockman), Keiji Inafune. Keiji is launching his first ever NFT collection – Beastroid. - Please introduce some advanced features of PolkaFantasy that make it competitive with other GameFi projects.
PolkaFantasy: PolkaFantasy is a holistic GameFi ecosystem with its own marketplaces, NFT wallet and games.
We designed a unique gaming system with different NFTs, we aim to fully utilize each and every one of our NFTs within the ecosystem to deliver the best experience to our community.
We have two NFT marketplaces: 1) aimée; 2) game marketplace. The differences between our art marketplace (aimée) and game marketplace is that our art marketplace is dedicated to the ACG culture. Our aim is to provide a platform for creative creators to connect and interact with their fans and collectors with NFTs; and connect all ACG lovers in one place.
Whereas, our game marketplace focuses on trading all in-game assets of Polkafantasy and also from other projects which we will be collaborating with. An easier and more efficient solution for gamers to trade their favourite NFTs and to a way for them to discover new games from projects they’ve never come across before.
And we will have our launchpad coming this year. Which means there is a lot of oppotunities for gamers and investors alike.

- Can you share some major upcoming events that the community need to pay more attention to?

PolkaFantasy is an inclusive platform for creators and community who loves Animation, Comic and Game. But, will it be a place only for those who love this things? Can’t users who love music or sports be here as well? Do you plan to attract this type of users too? If so, how?
PolkaFantasy:
Our native NFT marketplace is where we connect people from all over the world, from different cultures together.
PolkaFantasy is a Japanese brand as you can see. So what we are buildiing on aimée is a Japanese ACG dedicated marketplace, so it is more focused and easier for Japanese anime fans to dicsover and trade. But we are also in support of a diverse culture. If users really want to list their non Japanese ACG themed NFT collections on aimee, that’s also okay. Just that the creators have be aware that our audience group is very unique. Our platform also support differenet NFT formats, such as music, video and more.
Most importantly, PolkaFantasy aims to be the bridge to bring non-crypto gamers and ACG lovers to the crypto space. We position ourselves something much more than ACG games. We aim to become to top-tier game ecosystem in blockchain space, and create multiple games to sustain the long-term vision of the project.

Do you have any NFT plans and its integration ahead in the roadmap? Also do you have any passive income options and incentivization reward for a long term hoder?
PolkaFantasy:
One thing worth mention is the land NFT system integration – It’s pretty amazing as we have to be accurate about the cooridinates and everything else! But apart from that, we are integrating all the heroes and weapon NFTs into the games we are developing.
Staking would soon be available to all XP holders in coming future.

What are the highlights or specialties of your upcoming beastroid collection ?
PolkaFantasy:
The concept for this collection is that: the robots are going to rescue the world. And there are several missions for collectors to complete and collect special rewards.
First is the bonus minting, which every minter can form their own dream team faster.
Second, there are 6 combos. And each combo would entitle the minter/holder to receive a speacial NFT. Simply put, 1 combo = 1 special NFT, and there are 6 combos in total. More details can be found here:

What do you expect from the polkafantasy community?
PolkaFantasy: We want our community to be more involved in the entire development process, and supporting us by giving us creative ideas to make the best products ever in the blockchain world and beyond – the higher synergy, the better!
That’s why when you access our Discord channel, you will see a lot of channels for you to contribute your awesome ideas.
While we are dedicating all ourselves in developing the main games and other products, we are also developing more minigames! The first one ManaRush was released a while back and we are glad that our community likes it.
So this time, we are going to bring an even more complex minigame before the main game beta launch! We look forward to seeing all sorts of ideas and suggestions!

What is the current and future development plan of the @PolkaFantasy project?
PolkaFantasy: This is a great question.
We are actively developing our first game right now. We have released the Alpha version back in July. And Beta version is coming in the fall.
In this sense, we are preparing to launch the game early next year. This means there is a lot of oppotunities for investors and gamers at the moment.
Besides, we aim to release our second game alpha version probably this year. This will be a big push to PolkaFantasy ecosystem as a whole and increase the utlitiles of our $XP token in many sense.
And as mentioned previously, our launchpad will be coming too. This will formulate a strong foundation for PolkaFantasy as a holistic game ecosystem.

- What is the main strategy that you think will boost your project a success for the long term vs high fluctuation market? In which core value that you think you could convince us (as investors) to put our investment into your project ?
PolkaFantasy:
PolkaFantasy is very different from other BCG which you may have seen.
First, we target both crypto & non-cryto users/gamers. This means, our target audience is not confined to traditional crypto markets. Our team is formed by members with very strong background in game, animation and IP industry. Therefore, you won’t be like many other projects which can only sustain in short period of time. We are building an ecosystem which can last for many years to come.
Second, our multiple game strategies mean that you will see increasing amount of utilities of our $XP token. We purposely build an ecosystem to make the project successful by integrating a lot of important parts in the project.
- Hello, We can see PolkaFantasy has strong background. What we can expect the gameplay in future? Would it only has one game mode? Or like Gala and mbox as a platform that have different game to play?
PolkaFantasy:
We will build different games for the project. And at the same time we will integrate games from other projects as well.
We are not only a game builder, but a platform/ecosystem builder. In other words, the $XP token is not confined to limited usage.
As our token is already on Ethereum, BSC, and Polygon, new investors can get into our token economy easily, while enjoy an array of amazing games coming in future.

- Are you able to list 1-three Killer functions of your task that makes it ahead of competitors? What’s the competitive benefit your platform Has that you are feeling maximum confident about?
PolkaFantasy:
- We build games which will attract game lovers, but not only BCG investors which dig rewards only. That means our games will have longer life-span and higher upside in terms of rewards.
- We are a game ecosystem. We can leverage on many amazing partnership to make our tokens more valuable. In fact, we have sustain our token price above IDO price despite a bear market. This means you will probably see a very good upside once we announce something magical in coming months.
- Our members/advisors have strong background launching successful game projects. They are from top-tier game companies which have crafted very successful biz model already. We will build something as amazing as those big traditional companeis and bring revolution to BCG market. We build to amaze users.
- Hi @AlexPolkaFantasy Is your project only for English speaking countries or is there a community for other language users?
PolkaFantasy:
We are building a strong community in Asia, especially in Japan.
In that sense, our target audience is much more than more projects aim to reach. This gives us a strong advantage because once our game will be launched early next year, you will see the push we can gain from the strong Asian market as well.
In coodination with something announced this year, we hope to achieve a steady support/push to our token price. We are building to make real change to this GameFi landscape. And I believe the community will see the tangible progress as more game info and our ecosystem info are released/announced. This may be the next stage of PolkaFantasy you will witness and enjoy!
