On June 26th  2021, our community had a chance to welcome Mrs. Silvia CMO of GameStarter to join in an AMA to give fruitful information about the key features and roadmap of GameStarter –  a NFT-based crowdfunding platform & marketplace for game creators powered by $GAME Coin!

This AMA was held by CryptoFamily Group – the top crypto community in Vietnam, where investors and traders can obtain the latest news and signals from bot/ admins, as well as discuss and share investment experiences in the crypto space.

At this AMA, Mrs. Silvia directly greeted the community and provided detailed information on GameStarter as well as some key products and future plans.

Question for Part 1- Project overview

Question 1: First, please give an overview of Gamstarter and some advanced features that make it outstanding from other NFT-based platforms.

Mrs. Silvia: What is Gamestarter?
Gamestarter is a blockchain-based crowdfunding platform that helps indie game creators to fundraise by pre-selling unique in-game assets in the form of NFTs. Additionally, Gamestarter provides a marketplace to trade digital assets from successfully launched games (incubated on Gamestarter or elsewhere).

$GAME token 
Gamestarter’s platform economy will run on Game Coin (‘GAME’), which will power all transactions on the platform as well as referral bonuses and reward programs. Unlike other tokens that are backed by one product only, $GAME coin is backed up by MANY projects. So we only need 1 game project out of 100 to succeed to dramatically increase the coin’s value.

The market
Even though game fundraising is a huge market, and a proven business model, there’s not a lot of innovation in that space. The market for digital goods is large and growing fast. Video games are already north of a $140 billion market, and tokenized consumer products are a $1.8 trillion market and growing. Indie game development is booming.
Gamestarter is built at the convergence of these key industry trends, and currently we have no competitors. Kickstarter is probably the closest one, but it’s non-crypto and we have a much better offering overall.

Question 2: Could you tell us some of your investment partners and what value they have brought to Gamestarter platform?

Mrs. Silvia: Our lead investor is Dao Maker, they bring a huge community of crypto enthusiasts and provide us strategic advice regarding the project. Dao Maker is also one of the best launchpad at the moment, their projects have great performance even in bad market conditions.
Our investors, for example Evangelion, Kyros and others, are helping with marketing, visibility, networking, strategic partnerships and influencers. So we have a pretty solid backing and support from the best crypto funds.

Question 3: Please share with us the vision and goals of Gamestarter in the near future.

Mrs. Silvia: Our most important goal is to release our fully working platform and list carefully chosen game projects. We plan to reach that goal in the next few months, as our platform is in the final stages of development. After the platform release, we will continue to perfect it and add more features that benefit our community.
We are also looking forward to our SHO with Dao Maker which will be announced soon. Unlike most other projects in the crypto space, we will release our platform immediately after the SHO, so there won’t be a long time period of trading ‘productless’ token.

CF: Sounds interesting, I know many traders only care about the token price, but focusing on real products is the best way to benefit in the long term

Mrs. Silvia: Yes, our product is for the long run, because we don’t expect people to stop playing games any time soon. And we’ll have new game listings every month or even every week.

Questions for Part 2 – Pre-collected questions from Twitter:

Question 1: Please name some barriers of Gamestarter to entry when participating in the NFT marketplace. What plan has your platform prepared to compete with other NFT marketplaces like Rarible, OpenSea, NBA top shot, etc? @BinaPony

Mrs. Silvia: First of all we are a crowdfunding platform, so our main mission is to help creators bring more interesting game projects to the gaming and crypto communities.

So we don’t directly compete with other NFT marketplaces, since we’re highly specialized in game items. We also bring in a non-crypto community to our platform (and crypto space) as well. So these game projects will not have a listing anywhere else. Gamestarter will feature and incubate a lot of original game NFTs that will not be available anywhere else.

CF: I’m not a gamer, but I’m really impressed by graphic design of NFT games. Could you please name a few outstanding games ready to be launched on your platform?

Mrs. Silvia: Sure! At the moment, we only announced a few games that will feature their unique NFT items on Gamestarter:

Mrs. Silvia: But we will continue to announce new games every week, so stay tuned. As a sneak peek, I can tell you, that we’re going to feature a game that will get even the non-gamers excited! 

Also, a special sneak peek for the Vietnamese community. One of our upcoming listings will take you to Mars! It’s a visually stunning game, similar to Second Earth, where you’ll be able to buy plots of land on Mars, improve it and sell it for profit!

Question 2: 2. Currently, famous KOLs or gamers are having a great influence on the community, do you plan to use their image to promote Game Starter?  If yes, what form and advertising campaign? @duetdaily

Mrs. Silvia: For sure! We are in touch with many KOLs and we are already working with influencers with 10-15 M and more subscribers all over the world on Youtube and TikTok. We will continue to increase our marketing outreach as we move forward with our platform launch.

Gamestarter is a platform where anybody can participate, from anywhere. There are no country restrictions. So we are particularly focused on making Gamestarter accessible not only to the English speaking part of the world, but also to other communities, like for example Vietnam.
We will also get a lot of synergy from our game listings and strategic partners.

Question 3: How easy is it to create my own game using Gamestarter? Do I need to have large amounts of NFT to start building? Are there any fees for using the platform? @Lidiamga

Mrs. Silvia: It’s very easy for game developers to get on Gamestarter, the integration is seamless.

All you need is a set amount you are looking forward to raising, and a list of NFT assets you are going to sell. At this point we will help each developer to find the best fit in order to raise their set amount of funds.
By the way we will take care of the technical aspect of the NFT generation process and an API for Unreal Engine and Unity 3d. So game creators will not have to do ANY extra work.
Regarding the fees, there will be no fees for the first 100 game listings!
And after that, the raising fees will be up to 2% – so very small compared to Kickstarter.

Question 4: The community always anticipates incentives programs from new project like this, so will there any incentive program for users? Is there any technical issue or challenge you have faced before, can you tell us how you solve or overcome it? @Imindroq

Mrs. Silvia: We love our community. So we have plenty of exciting things planned out:
🎁 We will have frequent NFT giveaways. We aim to do one with EVERY game listing.
⚡️ We will feature a lot of contests. Last week we had a sticker contest and next week we will introduce a meme contest. So make sure to participate! 
🤝 We will soon introduce an ambassador program for our most loyal community members.

There’s also going to be special incentives for $GAME token holders. For one, you’ll be able to earn $GAME tokens by completing fun tasks, like reviewing games, or beta-testing them. Also, you’ll get premium access to the most in-demand NFTs and your trading fees will be very small!
As for the technical challenges, we have the best developers. Nothing is challenging for them.

Question 5: What strategy will you implement to bring non-crypto natives into your ecosystem? How do you keep a balance between developing the technology and also improving the value of your token? @Maley071627334

Mrs. Silvia: Great question! 🔥
Most other crypto projects are only built for crypto users. Gamestarter is very different.
A lot of the games on Gamestarter will not be crypto related at all! They’re just regular games you can buy on Steam or other mainstream game publishing platforms. So we’re going to bring a lot of crypto-virgin game developers and their communities of gamers that are not familiar with crypto at all. That is something that’s very special about Gamestarter – bridging the gap between crypto and non-crypto games. 
Gamestarter will be very easy to use for the non-crypto gamers. All they have to do is just download a small plugin that will be integrated with the game. 
As for the token value, it’s very simple. The more great game listings we’ll have on board, the more $GAME token will rise in value.

Questions for Part 2 : BEST LIVE QUESTIONS CRYPTOFAMILY GROUP

Question 1: How strong is your team? Many projects starts with good impression and later  abandoned the project. What makes your project different than others? Please share with us.

Mrs. Silvia: Our team is highly experienced in SAAS and game development. We value our reputation, so this is definitely not a pump and dump project. We put a lot of heart into it and I hope it shows.
We are building a platform, similarly to Dao Maker, but focused only on GAME projects. We are tapping into a huge market of game funding and crypto. Gamestarter’s economy will be supported by many games, instead of just one. So the NFT tokens will be highly liquid and the $GAME token will have a strong use case.

Question 2: Could you tell me a little more about the team and their backgrounds? Many initiatives have been launched with novice team members, and some of them have failed owing to easily avoidable blunders?

Mrs. Silvia: The founding team is from a indie game studio themselves. So thet really know the benefit of Gamestarter and they know the pain points of the industry and are now addressing them with hands-on experience.

Question 3: Lately, most projects have pulled the carpet and got rid of scams.Why should we trust your project while it’s still going?

Mrs. Silvia: It’s very simple. If you don’t want to trust Gamestarter, that’s understandable. But we are backed up by many reputable crypto funds. They all have agreed to our $GAME token vesting, which means, they can only access 20% of their tokens on TGE. They have their reputation to uphold so they did a thorough research on our team and project. Moreover, thay are freezing their money for a long period of time.

Question 4: Marketing strategy is very important. A product can be established on the market without marketing and promotion, whatever it is good. So what are your plans for this? How will you build strong relationships with communities?

Mrs. Silvia: Will will continue to strengthen our influencer campaigns – that’s our main marketing focus. We are working with some pretty big influencers in crypto space at the moment. 
Additionally, we expect to gain a lot of exposure from our partnerships with top crypto and non-crypto games which will continuously bring new users to our platform. We will also bring traditional game developers to the crypto market as it’s our mission.

Question 5: Can you tell us some Killer features of your project that make one step ahead of competitors? And Which feature are you proud of?

Mrs. Silvia: It’s a combination of exchange and launchpad style token economics.

– Secondary market fees paid in $GAME are discounted.

onstant demand for the token from the gamers and devs using the platform

– Portion of platform fees are used to support secondary market token circulation
– This permanently impacts net token supply.

Launchpad Style
– The premium NFT segment is not open to all and only token holders can access it.
– This creates demand for speculators and gamers to buy $GAME tokens and take them out of circulation.
