On December 3th 2021, our community had a chance to welcome Mr. ETHERMAGE – CEO and EVERYTHINGEMPTY – CFO/COO of PATHDAO to join an AMA to deliver fruitful information about the key features and roadmap of the project.
This AMA was held by CryptoFamily Group – the top crypto community in Vietnam, where investors and traders can obtain the latest news and signals from bot/ admins, as well as discuss and share investment experiences in the crypto space.

1. Could you briefly describe what is PathDAO and how it works?
PATHDAO: PathDAO is a community-first, decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) that creates value for investors and players in the growing blockchain gaming and metaverse.
We focus on
• Investing in blockchain-based game assets
• Building a play-to-earn gamer community
• Bringing fintech / DeFi products to the unbanked scholars in developing world
• Creating a distribution platform for blockchain games, innovative blockchain & NFT projects
2. Please share with us the mission and vision of PathDAO in the near future. What is its ultimate goal currently?
PATHDAO: PathDAO wants to be the SuperIndex of Metaverse. With more blockchain games coming into the space, it is getting harder for investors to make the right bet given the amount of noise in the market. With deep research, proactive community engagement and operational excellence, PathDAO aims to become the top-performing Metaverse asset investment and management organisation — creating superior return for $PATH holders.
Play-to-earn economy has transformed the lives of many in the developing world. PathDAO wants to provide our scholars with the best earning opportunities, a family across local communities and the opportunities to grow professionally within a gaming guild. Most scholars in developing world are unbanked, without access to healthcare insurance, investment opportunities and financing facilities. PathDAO, as a gaming guild, is best-positioned to bring a whole suite of financial products to the unbanked. Imagine a scholar could now get access to healthcare insurance and a 20% APY on Anchor protocol?
2022 will be the year of blockchain games. The competition among games for players will be fierce. PathDAO aims to be the distribution channel and partner of top blockchain gaming ecosystems, providing games with investment capital, operational excellence and player liquidity.
3. Would you mind sharing with us the marketing plan of PathDAO to attract more new users?
PATHDAO: Good question. Three ways to attract more investors and scholars to our community
1. Community referral: we have a very strong community today with more than 20K members on discord and 25K+ followers on twitter. Currently most of our community members come from referral from existing members, to feel the vibe!
2. Influencers. We are lucky to have a very strong panel of supporters who are very influential on cryptotwitter and youtube. Having them as part of us will help us recruit more members
3. Offline community events. We plan to host more local community events in different parts of Souteast Asia to attract new members and strengthen our community vibe.
PART II: PRE-COLLECTED QUESTIONS FROM TWITTER
PathDAO has more than 1000 scholars and are targeting 5000 scholars by January 2022. I’m curious to know: who are scholars and what role do they play within the PathDAO Ecosystem? Also, what’s the reason behind your decision to have your BLBP fair launch on “Copper Launch”?
PATHDAO: Scholars are game players who earn by playing blockchain games. We provide our scholars with assets that they usually are not able to afford. With this, players can now earn without having to pay for expensive assets. The best example is Axie Infinity, made in Vietnam! On why are we having BLBP fair launch:
When it comes to fundraising in the cryptocurrency industry, we’re learning all the time and we’re aware of what can go wrong. We have seen the days when thousands of people fought for a tiny allocation, competing with each other and spending thousands of dollars in gas fees. Then came the rise of launchpads with whitelisting, individual caps and so on.
In contrast, by creating a decentralised community and building a DAO, we know the various backgrounds of our communities. From the under-privileged who are more than happy to receive a scholarship to the extremely wealthy who seek new investment opportunities, our community is wildly diverse. This is why we feel there is really only one way to fairly host our public round.

I see one of the ways through which PathDAO increase the value of the treasury is through “Blockchain game asset investment”. What are the basic criteria considered in evaluating potential investments? In addition, does the community have a say in determining investments?
PATHDAO: The way we evaluate investment is based on three factors
– Track record of founding team. In game, the track record of game founders is very important as it requires experience and network in the space to build the game that the mass enjoy playing
– Execution capability and traction of the game. Game is also a game of scale, as it gets more fun with more players. Hence we want to see how likely the game explodes with user growth. One the community has to have good vibe!
– Economics. The beauty of blockchain gaming is how it incorporates finance and economics into gameplay, incentivizing players to play for fun and for earning
The beauty of PathDAO is that it is a decentralised organisation, hence the answer is yes, the community has a say in determining investment! In fact, we want to leverage the collective wisdom of our community to drive our investment decision.

What are the prerequisites that a user must meet in order to enjoy playing games on the $PATH platform? What are the plans for the game now that it has been released? Is the game compatible on mobile and PC version and can be downloaded on various app stores?
PATHDAO: We take a structured and data-driven approach to when it comes to recruitment. We hire only the best candidate, taking into account the raw talent, attitude, infrastructure (internet, computer hardware), game experience and track record. Process includes detailed questionnaire and interview processes. After the scholars come onboard, we provide structured training. Our managers also conduct training via daily live-streaming on discord. Currently we have 1,000 scholars across three games (Axie Infnity, Vulcan Forged and League of Kingdoms) and have struck partnerships with Illuvium, Embersword, CryptoUnicorns, Geopoly, Nine Chronicles, Age of Tanks, Playermon, Sipher. So it is a whole range of games with mobile and computer!

With the launch of $PATH on ETH Mainnet and DAO, what progress has the PathDAO team made so far? Considering the network you have chosen, with so many traffic issues, gas rates, or other; does PathDAO plan to migrate to another network or will they implement a Layer 2 technology?
PATHDAO: Since launch in October 2021, we have achieved a lot:
– Brought in 1,000 scholars and aim to have more than 5,000 scholars in January 2022
– Closed a seed round led by DeFiance Capital and Merit Circle
– Secured partnerships with 9 blockchain game ecosystems (Illuvium, Vulcan Forged, Playmon, CryptoUnicorns, League of Kingdom, Age of Tanks, Nine Chronicles, Geopoly, Sipher). By providing games with operational support + player liquidity, PathDAO will be able to secure off-market, undervalued asset deals in return
– Assembled a strong advisor panel, including Kieran Warwick — co-founder at Illuvium, Kyle Chassé — CEO at PAID network, Anderson Sumarli — CEO at Ajaib, fintech unicorn in Indonesia, Prakash Somosundram — CEO at Enjinstarter and Pino Tedesco — CEO at LVT Capital. – Designed a fintech & DeFi roadmap for our scholars, targeting roll-out in Q1 2022
– Launched the first NFT project , a co-generative NFT that allows the owner to define the final form of the art by inputting a phrase of choosing. Minting is now closed and close to 1,900 of them have been minted
We launched on Ethereum because it is where most investors are. With the upcoming L2 technologies, we are optimistic that Ethereum will be scalable. But in the event that we see a blockchain that better fits our operation, we are happy to consider other options.
