On October 17th 2021, our community had a chance to welcome Mr Alex Hui – CEO & Founder PolkaFantasy to join an AMA to give valuable information about the key features and roadmap of the PolkaFantasy Project.
This AMA was held by CryptoFamily Group – the top crypto community in Vietnam, where investors and traders can obtain the latest news and signals from bot/ admins, as well as discuss and share investment experiences in the crypto space.
At this AMA, Mr Alex Hui directly greeted the community and provided detailed information on PolkaFantasy as well as some exciting events that will be held in the near future.

PART I: INTRODUCTION OF POLKAFANTASY
1. Could you please give us a brief introduction to PolkaFantasy? What problems do you aim to do and solve in this sector?
Mr Alex Hui: I am Alex, the CEO & founder of PolkaFantasy, the first-ever Japanese-themed NFT cross-chain marketplace & multiverse play-to-earn game in the world.
PolkaFantasy is formed by a strong team with deep knowledge in game and blockchain. Our team includes ex-COO from Square Enix (Final Fantasy), and ex-CEO of SNK (KOF, Metal Slug), and even the producer of Pokemon & Evangelion TV series.
We aim to build the best & NFT game ecosystem, by combining the know-how of blockchain and popular games. We want to combine NFT marketplace and game seamlessly so that people can discover what they want, regardless whether they are digital art lovers or avid gamers.
2. Please share some prominent features of PolkaFantasy that differs it from other projects ?
Mr Alex Hui: We are unique in several ways:
1. Our team has actually built popular games that were proven in Asia and the world. In other words, we aim to target both crypto and non-crypto people. And this will bring us a huge business opportunities in long run.
2. We are a holistic ecosystem. That means, we are building play-to-earn games, and NFT marketplace at the same time. These will form a strong integration for long-term benefits for both gamers and investors.
3. We are targeting ACG (animation, comic, and game) culture. And on market there are very very few ecosystem yet, so we can be the first mover.
3. How is PolkaFantasy development going? Can you describe current development status, market expansion plans and some hot events that await us in the future?
Mr Alex Hui: We are in building mode right now on many things.
First, we have fully built the front end of the marketplace with smart contracts integration as well. What we need is to optimize the backend so that we can have a better user experience for the users. The beta version should be available soon.
Second, we are integrating the Polygon in our NFT wallet right now. This will allow better usability of the wallet for NFT users.
As for the game, we are building the 1v1 alpha/beta version and we also want to include some amazing scenerio too. This is taking time but we really enjoy working on it.
Besides, we will have a FANTASY LAND sale coming this Friday!! This event is one of a kind event that won;t happen again soon.

Now about 33m tokens are locked for linear distribution. And the team token will only be released a year or more later.
We have a lot of upcoming utilites for the $XP. And $XP will be used for the whole PolkaFantasy ecosystem. Therefore, in long run we expect HUGE DEMAND for sure.

What are the highlights of PolkaFantasy technology and products that you believe will help you achieve success? In which way the revenue would be generated to sustain the project’s development, and what plans do you have to attract more users in the future?
Mr Alex Hui:
1.Let’s talk about the revenue first:
In PolkaFantasy, revenue can come in many forms:
In long run, we are going to work with many famous artists, IPs, and game creators. In fact, we have materialize some collaborations about which I personally am also excited. By providing community their excellent works, not only we can secure a heathy source of revenue for both the creators and PolkaFantasy, we can also build a good reputation. And by leveraging these, we can have more collaborations in variety to expand PolkaFantasy universe.
On the other hands, we occasionally have special events for PolkaFantasy. Just like the auction we had previous, and the coming landsale, these kinds of one-time event also offer great opportunities for team to be more connected to community, and source revenue for development.
All these fund will be mainly used for building PolkaFantasy games and ecosystem, because our vision is to build AAA titles that will last for years to come.
2. As for the tech and products:
TECH: We are building a ecosystem which is running on multiple chains and in future it will be cross-chain. This enable us to leverage on the strengths of different chains and provide the best experience
PRODUCTS: We are building a whole ecosystem for GameFi. This means, we will have GAMES, NFT Marketplace and even some very cool platforms for various functions. This will give PolkaFantasy a very strong foundation to scale up.

Polkafantasy is an eye-catching platform whose NFTs have been inspired by Japanese culture. What are the reasons why you have been inspired by this culture to develop your NFTs? Besides this, will you use other art forms to attract users with different interests and tastes?
Mr Alex Hui:
Japanese ACG market is super huge. Its annual market size is hundred of billions dollars. In that sense, by being the first mover in this blockchain space, we can secure a good market size and capitalize on the huge opportunities. Of course, as we progress, we will move to expand to capture more audience.

I learn from your latest article that Fantasy Land Presale is about to be on air. What are the requirements for participants to join this event? Why did you divide it into 2 stages for XP-holders and Auction Participants? And please share some utilities of the purchased land.
Mr Alex Hui: The land pre-sale will be coming Friday.
We have two stages because we also value long-term supporters. By having 2 pre-sale for different audience, we can make sure that our supporters can have the lands they want. At the same time, this is our gesture for appreciation to them.
To participate in the XP pre-sale, you will need to hold a certain amount of $XP tokens to purchase 3 different ranks of land: Standard, S and SS. And each rank has its own requirement for access.

Mr Alex Hui:
We have 5 Tiers of land in total: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythical. Each tier has different utilities, Common has the standard usage such as clan battle, farming, build houses etc, whereas the higher tiers have better features and utilities than the lower ones. Apart from that, each tier also includes 3 ranks of land: Standard has 1 tile of land, S has 4 tiles and SS has 9 tiles. The differences between the ranks are not just the sizes but also the benefits each contain.
By holding the lands, users have to benefits of using in multiple games and even partner games! Our plan is to build multiple games in the future. Just as gamers expect AAA game studio will develop many great games in long run. Therefore, owning a land in PolkaFantasy means that you can having lands not for only 1 game, but for the whole ecosystem with many games!

In PolkaFantasy, our philosophy is to build partnership with meaningful purpose. In other words, we don’t want to build partnership for sake of partnership. Therefore, we are also communicating with other projects in this space and try to build strong synergy together.

These partnerships not only help us to reach a wilder range of audience, it also bring our exciting products to the launchpad community. Q2. Non-crypto user is very important for mainstream adoption. How you are planning to attract non-crypto users towards your project? Is there any upcoming partnership that will brings non-crypto user and real-use case?
Mr Alex Hui: We are building games not only for crypto people, but we will build games like Final Fantasy, FortNight, Minecraft etc which can bring in huge amount of non-crypto people. We are in talk to many amazing game desginers, creators in order to bring this vision to the community. And by working with great game designers and creators, we really hope to show that we are passionate in building AAA titles that will change the whole blockchain game landscape.
Q3. What is the most ambitious goal of your project? Could share with us any Upcoming Updates?
Mr Alex Hui: Our vision is to build the BEST game/NFT ecosystem. And we truly believe that by doing so, early $XP holders will benefit most. Imagine, Axie Infinity price is about $0.12 last Nov, and we believe that PolkaFantasy is the same at this early stage. When our game launches, we will have a huge traction. Besides, we are going to make some big announcements in future. This will prove that we have potential to be a very successful gamefi platform for crypto and even non-crypto game lovers.
Q4. Many projects have problems with UI / UX and this one turns off new users. How do you plan to improve the interaction with new users and with users outside the crypto space?
Mr Alex Hui: We are professional at UI / UX since we have been making real & popular products for a long time. For instance, I personally owned a dev studio. I won against hundreds of teams from all over the world, and was intentionally awarded twice.
Besides, we are working with a lot of great artists and designers from top game/design studios. To connect to non-crypto people, it’s a relatively easy path for us. Since we are in ACG (animation, comic, game) industry, this is already a market with a lot of traction. Therefore, by working with great IPs and artists, we can gain the attention of many non-crypto people, and bring them into this space. In that sense. we can tap into the huge market opportunities from Day 1. This is indeed very good to our token $XP in long run.

Q5. Many new projects make a good impression at first but are suddenly abandoned. My question is, how will you manage the project and the token to get a position in the market and become the best token in the crypto world?
Mr Alex Hui: As a member in many other blockchain communities, I always have the same question. So, thanks for asking it because I know this matters to many of you.
First of all, passion matters in project. Many times we saw projects fail to achieve good results, it’s often because people chases rabbits without understanding what drave them to start a project in the first place. Market condition, business strategy, and operation may matter, but passion and understanding of the biz matters most in many cases.
In addition, we have many advisors who were CEO, COO, and directors etc from some of the BEST companies. By leveraging on their know-how, combined with our expertise in blockchain, we think we are very unique and have great chance to bring the BEST to this space.
