AMA Recap: CryptoFamily and EpicHero

On September 11th 2021, our community had a chance to welcome Mr J  - Chief Partnership Manager EPIC HERO to join in an AMA to deliver fruitful information about the key features and roadmap of the project.

Epichero is the Biggest 3D NFT War Game on BSC, the world's First P2E game with NFT holders reflection rewards in BNB.

This AMA was held by CryptoFamily Group – the top crypto community in Vietnam, where investors and traders can obtain the latest news and signals from bot/ admins, as well as discuss and share investment experiences in the crypto space.

At this AMA, Mr J directly greeted the community and provided detailed information on EPIC HERO as well as some exciting events that will be held in the near future.

PART I: INTRODUCTION OF EPIC HERO:

1. Could you give us a brief introduction of EpicHero and its key products?

Mr J: Hi Maru, good morning, or evening where you are 😋 and thank you for having me here, we here at Epic Hero, appreciate the opportunity to come here and talk to your users about our project.For those that don't know me my name is Mr.J and I am the Chief Partnership Manager for Thoreum Finance and we are super excited to introduce you to our latest project Epic Hero, the most recent ITO to be launched on the fair launch platform of Thoreum and the first NFT project to be launched there also.

EpicHero is the largest 3D NFT War Game on the Binance Smart Chain Network. Users can collect and build an unstoppable force of characters by choosing from your favourite heroes from Greek, Norse, Chinese, Japanese, Egyptian, Indian and Roman Mythology. Users can summon, merge and evolve thousands of Collectable Epic Hero Battle Card NFTs and bring them to the largest arena to do battle against other Epic Heroes.

Moreover, EpicHero is the First Ever play to earn game that rewards its NFT holders with 5% BNB of token transaction and NFT marketplace transaction tax. This innovative mechanism gives the EpicHero NFT holder's great passive income overtime simply by holding the NFT in their wallet.

2. Next, please share your roadmap of EpicHero and how it is progressing so far.

Mr J: So far the largest aspect of the project has been research and planning, engaging with our current user base and family over on Thoreum and reaching out to potential users such as yourselves to find out what excites each of you about NFTs and how you want to interact with them and what you hope to be able to achieve through them.

We then spent huge amounts of time, effort and resources to build the marketplace, system, game and finally the NFTs in a way that would get people from all areas of DeFi excited.

Long term development & long term benefit for investors is our main target, which is also why we chose to be strategic partner with Thoreum, the project that has been battle tested and has the right recipe for resilient long term growth, even in bearish periods of the market.

3. Could you update some hot news or big events of EpicHero to attract more users in the coming time?

Mr J: Of Course, Thanks for the question. We are super excited for the white list to be completed and to offer the opportunity to those lucky few to get their hands on the first epic hero tokens and start to interact with our site. Then the market place will launch where people will be able to buy, trade and sell their Epic Hero NFTs.

Users will then start to be able to interact with their heros, staking them to earn EpicHero tokens, fighting, questing etc. Then we have boss battles coming, some you will be able to fight yourself, others will need to join a clan to take these big boys down.

After that, users can play to win Hero Equipment or buy it from Hero Equipment Machine. Users can use many items to craft, merge, upgrade to make better equipment and finally exchange with others through the Equipment Marketplace.

When the NFT characters have been upgraded and equipped with the best weapons and gear, they can join the Arena in 1 vs 1 areas, 3vs3, 5v5 and Thousands to thousands arenas to win big prizes in cash every week or month. Please tell me the history behind EpicHero, can you share a bit about the background of the project's founding team. Numerous types of NFT gaming platforms are on the market currently, so how confident are you about the future EpicHero? 

Mr J: We are a diverse group of highly skilled developers, marketers, and influencers. For years, we loved to play role playing games together, until one day we asked ourselves a question "why not make a game ourselves that everyone can own a piece of".  So this game is for the people who both want to play, and become owners of a game, and it's a perfect fit with the NFT and Defi concept.

Every year the global gaming market value is about 50 billions dollars, and almost all of this money comes to the game publisher, none comes to the game player who actually pays for it. We at EPICHERO want to dethrone this concept, if users who paid for the game can own the game, literally, it will be more beneficial and profitable for the users.

So EPICHERO was born with the 2 killing features :

Largest scale battle game on BSC where thousands of players can play together at the same time to win real money in the form of prizes. Be the world's first and only play to earn game that gives NFT holders reflections rewards in BNB. Our market is filled with a wide range of gaming platforms now. But the major disadvantage is that after playing for hours we are left with in-game rewards with no real world monetary value. So will EpicHero address this problem, and what solutions will you provide?

Mr J: We are well aware of this problem, and have a solution that solves this issue.The value of the gaming token is based on supply and demand and with a well calculated rewards and burning mechanism the demand can always be equal or higher than the EPICHERO supply making our token's value stay stable. For example every transaction of EPICHERO will have a transaction tax as follow:

- Token Burn each buy & sell: 1%
- Token Comeback to Game Incentives pool each buy & sell: 1%

So about 1% is burnt each transaction making EPICHERO rarer as time goes by, also 1% comes back to the rewards pool so the reward pool is not only giving out but also receiving in rewards, making the games economy more balanced.

We also have dynamically adjusted rewards rate of Farming and Staking Hero based on EPICHERO price: the higher the price the lower the reward rate and the lower the price the higher the reward rate, to make supply & demand always balanced.

All of the functions in EPICHERO have these base mechanics, mathematically calculated to balance rewards and demand. This mechanism is one of the best solutions on the market right now and we are confident that the EPICHERO token will always be calculated between supply and demand to make the price stable and increase in the long term.

Typically, investors buy tokens that are likely to increase in price in the future. I saw that, total supply of the token  is huge. So, does EpicHero have any plan for burning tokens in the future to reduce the supply of the token and increase its investment attractiveness? 

For EpicHero's long term growth, we have a burn mechanism; 1% built-in in each transaction, as more time passes the rarer the tokens become. We also have a reserve fund just as our partner program Thoreum does, their Thor Thunder account holds over 5000 BNB for buy back and burn stability and that’s the best warranty for a bear market and Thoreum is a proven case showing that growth and resilient are possible even in a bear market.

EpicHero tokens are also burned by many in-game activities like summoning a new hero, evolving a hero to next level, merging two existing heroes to create a new one, and many more exciting interactions. These burns help bring balance to the supply.

As for Epic Hero NFT, not only are they highly limited in numbers, but they will also become rarer and rarer day by day because of our NFT merging (burning) mechanism. User can choose 2 heroes to merge into a new 1 with better attributes or rarity, so the number of heroes will decrease over time.

Are you on the same page with us that the power of a strong community will lead to the sound success of a blockchain project? Do you have a good marketing team, or enough financial resources to approach to more global community members? 

Mr J: This again is an excellent time to give a nod and acknowledge the strength of the alliance we have with Thoreum. Thoreum already has 20 local groups with a total of 140,000 members, including Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, USA, Europe, countries across the Middle East and others, which EpicHero has gained immediate exposure to. I've read that playing games can help you earn money passively; how can Epic Hero help users earn money passively? On which blockchain is your coin based? Is your product aimed at more experienced cryptocurrency users, or is it only attractive and appealing to newcomers? 

Mr J: For the first time in the cryptosphere, users will be able to gain passive reflections of BNB just from holding EpicHero and their Epic Hero NFTs.

Epic Hero is The First Ever Play-To-Earn game that rewards its NFT holders with BNB for simply holding their NFTs. This amount of BNB is equivalent to a 5% of all token transactions and NFT marketplace transactions tax, divided amongst holders. This innovative mechanism gives the Epic Hero NFT holders great passive income, overtime, simply by holding the NFT in their wallet.

Could you please us the motivation and benefits for traders & investors to hold THOREUM token for long-term? Are there any program for players to earn more THOREUM as well as other rewards? Please share your plans to help drive the demand and scarcity of token in circulation.

Mr J: Hi Paxton, we are primarily here for Epic Hero today, but sure I can talk about Thoreum also as they are intrinsically linked at this point.

You are right, Thoreum will be used in EpicHero in many important in-game activities like summon hero, levelling up, merging, birthing, etc. so it’s naturally needed for playing EpicHero and other games to come on the Thoreum platform.

Summoning a Hero, for example, cost Thoreum tokens.

You can summon your hero through the hero summoning page. You need to pay 10,000 Thoreum Tokens ( this number will be dynamically adjusted based on Thoreum price) for each hero. In the future you can pay by any tokens in the Thoreum Alliance with a discounted price ( ThunderADA, ThunderBNB, ThunderCAKE, ThunderETH and more).

Leveling up cost both EPICHERO & THOREUM.

The heroes are all level 1 in the beginning and can be upgraded by consuming EPICHERO and THOREUM token. The higher the level, the more token are required. The higher the level, the more rewards can be obtained from in-game activities.

So both Epic Hero and Thoreum will benefit from this partnership.

Also with the highest burning rate on all BSC, 10% per transaction, the scarcity of Thoreum will be higher and higher long term. Please remember that holding Thoreum also gives you more rewards in Thoreum from a 40% reflection tax.

The more time passed by, the more utilities of Thoreum plus the higher scarcity make it a perfect reason for investors to hold and compound more over time.

How many characters are there in EpicHero and how the game is designed, could you tell us about the main features and give us some details of each of them, from the ways in which we can generate profits and the Marketplace that you have designed for the game? 

Mr J: There will be hundreds of characters each with unique looks and feel, and for the 1st time user can own  a true 3D NFT that users are excited to own and show off, each with unique looking and stunning graphics. For the first time users can view their NFT fully in 3D mode, rotate, zoom in and view in a spectacular 360 degree view.

Not only choosing from your favourite heroes from Greek, Norse, Chinese, Japanese, Egyptian, Indian and Roman Mythology, but local communities can also vote for next heroes based on their culture and we will create an NFT for it! By connecting Gaming and Culture, it will be easy to connect and grow our player base. Imagine what it would be like if a Vietnamese gamer got a Hero like Lac Long Quan or Au Co. And the same for those who are fans of Napoleon, Quanyu, Naruto. 

No borders, no restrictions on creativity, the number of 3D NFTs that can be created is endless. As long as the culture has appeared on Earth, we will be able to bring it into the game.

Of course, as a play to earn game we have many in game mechanisms for users to earn, such as staking NFT Hero, engaging in missions that rewards tokens, competing in big prize arena, etc. The higher the level and rarity of the NFT hero, the more it can make in the game. This raises the demand for heroes higher over time and it is a perfect fit for our marketplace where people can buy and sell their NFT to make profit.

How do you keep your platform safe for Investors, and is your platform protected from hackers? And how do you manage if there's an attack on your platform, including the personal data of your platform's users? Is EpicHero ready for this?

Mr J: Before we were allowed to launch, Thoreum made it very clear that we had to hand all the code over to them along with all the documentation and a road map for integration, advertising, expansion and many many other aspects of the project. It is very important to them that we (as well as all the other partner projects) are legitimate, fair, safe, and bring something new and exciting to their user base. So we are happy to report that they are happy with all the information that we handed over and have themselves done a full audit of the code and the business.

We are not resting though and are currently in the process of obtaining 3 external audits from outside of Thoreum, including Certik, and we are excited to give you the results of these as soon as we have them. One of them will be out tomorrow and will be published on our website.

Q1: Can you list 1-3 killer features of your project that makes it ahead of competitors? What is the competitive advantanges your platform has that you feel most confident about??

Mr J: Thanks for the question, In my mind there are 3 killer features and one Epic Alliance that really make Epic Hero stand out from the competition.

1. World’s first NFT game and the only one until now that gives NFT holders reflection rewards in BNB. The longer you hold EpicHero 3D NFT, the larger the amount of dividend you get in BNB.

Mr J: We have an exciting mechanism for staking your NFT: Rewards are based on NFT level, rarity and stats.

  • Daily mining

In addition to the bloody battles, the heroes also have their own daily life and work. When not on adventures, the characters can do other jobs to gain token. You only need to click the button, and the hero will start to work and gain EPICHERO. Different job types may have requirements for attributes and levels. The higher the requirements, the higher the wages that can be gained.

  • Daily work types 

Daily work refers to the work that the hero can participate in. By participating in the daily work, the hero can continuously earn EPICHERO. During the daily work, the hero will be locked and cannot participate in other activities such as dungeon/PK until the player finishes the hero's daily work. 

  • Part-time job 

The most basic type of work, no level requirement

Q3. Southeast Asia is a very vibrant market and there are many new platforms under development. So what do you think about Southeast Asia and do you have plans to grow there?

Mr J: In our top 10 markets, 3 of them are Southest Asia, and we will focus on developing these markets: Vietnam, Indonesia & Philipines.
