This AMA was held by CryptoFamily Group – the top crypto community in Vietnam, where investors and traders can obtain the lastest news and signals from bot/ admins, as well as discuss and share investment experiences in the crypto space.
At this AMA, the Wanaka Farm directly greeted the community and provided detailed information as well as some key products and future plans.

Question for Part 1- Project overview
Question 1: First, can you please introduce yourselves to the community?
Wanaka Farm:Hi, I'm Cakoin - Co-founder and CMO from Wanaka Farm. I'm an artist/youtuber/ NFT game player based in France. I’ve been living in France for like 15 years. I love painting and recently found out about NFT. I immediately got hooked, I’ve been playing a lot of NFT games ever since.
Question 2:Next, can you please tell us about Wanaka?
Wanaka Farm:Wanaka Farm is a multiplayer NFT game,a perfect combination between a classical and a blockchain game where a happy farming universe was created and inspired by a dreamy beautiful island from the south of New Zealand called Wanaka. Players will experience adventurous quests and options to design their own unique land. Our slogan is “Play, relax and earn”.
Question 3:Are there any hot news or big events of Wanaka to attract more users in Vietnamese market?
Wanaka Farm:We are not focusing only in Vietnamese users, we want to spread Wanaka to the world. One of the upcoming big events is coming right after this AMA. So the Crypto family community is the first one to hear about it. We will have a series of competitions running from now to the date of IDO. Participating in our event you might have a chance to have an allocation.

Question 1:Many projects have different types of token economics to maintain the ecosystem. Usually systems like Staking/Burn/Buyback are used, but does Wanaka plan to use a system like staking?@johnhang
Wanaka Farm:Our economics system was well explained and written in our Green paper. You could find all the info that you need about our tokenomics. Staking and burning mechanism. About staking, we’ll have a dual tokens reward to people staking $WANA after launch.
Question 2: What’s the benefit of holding your tokens? If yes then how safe are your servers??? How many audits you have completed?@subu_04
Wanaka Farm:As I mentioned above, staking $WANA is one way of generating profit for you, you’ll earn 2 valuable tokens. $WANA is our governance token, $WAI is our in-game reward token.
Our token and NFT will be audited for sure. We are now in process and will announce it soon.
Question 3: With the rise of axie, the "play to earn" game market is getting everyone's attention. Players care about how much money they can make from the game. So what in the game wanaka farm will attract a large number of players to participate? @Cong0495
Wanaka Farm:Our game would have a similar economics model with axie. We aim to create a fun gameplay and amount of incentive which is attractive enough to keep people in our game. We’re not like others, we focus more on gameplay and entertainment angles, we’ll keep everything in balance for sustainability.
Question 4:Do Wanaka holders have right to participate in the governance of the project? On What kind of decisions can they vote on about the project? How do you keep yourself motivated for more developments and non-stop work in this Covid-19 pandemic ?@SandieMcintyre
Wanaka Farm:Staking $WANA makes you have the right to participate in the governance of the project. And by contributing your vote, you will have a reward. We have a long to-do list for the long term of the project and we are motivated to release everything in time.
Question 5: Can you please tell us more about the team vision cause many projects does good in starts and later abandoned the project? What are your strategy to increase attraction towards your project?

Wanaka Farm:We are people with ambitions, we are planning many things to do for the future of Wanaka. I'm very proud of our team members, not only the co-founders but all the dev and people behind us. We all want Wanaka to succeed. Axie Infinity is a model that we want to be like them. But somehow we have our own path and we still have many obstacles to surpass to reach that level. But we have faith

Question 1:I see this game will be a big competitor of alice. Any big plans to win the better other games like alice?
Wanaka Farm:I’ve been asked question like this a lot, Yes, we’re in same kind of gaming segment with My Neighbour Alice, but we have different gameplay , different economic system.We’re not trying to beat Alice or any other games, we’re just trying to do things better and avoid mistakes as many as we could.
Question 2:Products and havest items is nft but it seem unlimit in wanaka right? If it’s right nft of price too cheap to sell in market, can’t sell?
Wanaka Farm:Good question, product and harvested items are FT items, will get burned, in order completing quests. Only some mutation items are NFT which will bring you some particular features, which will be disclosed later. FT items are tradable in WanaTrade because other players might need yours to craft/forge items to complete their own quests.
Question 3: $WANA is currently running on the BSC network. I heard that Ethereum 2.0 will soon solve the problem of expensive gas fees. do you have plans for $WANA on the ETH network?
Wanaka Farm:The day we actually could see Ethereum 2.0 would be years from now. Currently, we want players having the most convenient and cheaper fee blockchain, so that is why we chose BSC to be our 1st. As you can see, our roadmap, next phase we’ll launch games on other chains like Polygon, Tron and Solana.
If Ethereum would actually happen sooner, we’ll definitely go with it.
Question 4:Many people want to learn about your project but they have problems with English, so do you plan to spread awareness about your project in different countries where English is not good? Do you have a Marketing strategy aimed at developing many different communities?
Wanaka Farm:You can rest assured that’s already in our plan, in our Marketing plan, we will expand our community to other non-English speaking countries. We’ll have like official telegram groups and Discord is on building, for gamers. For now with limited resources and people, you’ll have to wait a little bit, we also like to have other fans from other countries take the initiative to build one for your own peeps. If you guys could grow a big enough community, then we’ll announce you as an Official group and get rewarded.
Question 5:I see your community is growing more and more. But How can we members support and help Wanaka Farm ? What do you need from us? Can you tell us a bit more about the Wanaka Farm Core Team, Their experience & What brought you together to create the project?
Wanaka Farm:As I said earlier, right after the AMA, we will announce a series of competitions for the community. And this is the right moment that we want our community to participate and spread word to promote our project. You can help Wanaka only by staying at our side, participating in our event, contributing your precious creative ideas and getting rewarded.
Our team begins with 2 closed friends, our CEO Truong Tran and our CTO Thuan Nguyen. Youcan check their profile on the website. They were coming up with an idea of making a blockchain, NFT game. Then two other experts in gaming joined the team, our head of development Duc Hoang and his friend CPO Sang Nguyen. I am the last one to join the team and I am the CMO of Wanaka. We have reunited by the same vision in blockchain and the game's future. 2 people from the Blockchain area, 2 others from the Gaming area and I am a blockchain gamer. I think that we match pretty well.
